Jean also contributed her expertise to the public sector, serving as Commissioner for Judicial Appointments and Chair of the Remuneration Committee for Greenwich Healthcare Trust.
A defining chapter in Jean’s career came in 2006, when she was appointed Director of HR, Workforce and Accreditation for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. She oversaw the recruitment, training, and management of more than 200,000 staff and volunteers, including the renowned “Games Makers”.
