Amy Cappellanti-Wolf is the EVP and Chief People Officer at Dayforce, a global human capital management leader serving millions of employees worldwide. She is a respected keynote speaker whose work spans business transformation, leadership development and people strategy. Amy began her professional journey at Frito Lay, supporting manufacturing, sales and operations teams across multiple regions. After completing both a BS in Journalism and an MS in Industrial and Labour Relations from West Virginia University, she moved into a series of rising HR leadership posts that quickly established her reputation. At The Walt Disney Company, she supported divisions including Walt Disney Imagineering and the Disney Institute, shaping people strategy for creative and operational teams. She later served as Human Resources Director at Sun Microsystems, where she supported global engineering and marketing functions during a period of rapid technological advancement.
Her impact accelerated further at Cisco Systems, where she became Vice President of Human Resources and led global HR support across finance, marketing, supply chain, IT and other core functions. Amy went on to hold top HR roles at influential technology companies, including Chief Human Resources Officer at Silver Spring Networks and Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Symantec, where she guided the organisation through major divestitures and acquisitions while supporting a workforce of more than 14,000 people worldwide. She later became Chief Human Resources Officer at Cohesity, a leading data security and management company, before joining Dayforce in 2024.
