Andrew Ayres is a technology strategist, author and transformation leader specialising in artificial intelligence, governance and enterprise innovation. As Master Strategist for the UK and Ireland at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Andrew advises senior leaders on the responsible adoption of AI, multi-cloud strategy and trusted data frameworks. Recognised for bridging deep technical insight with commercial execution, he has become a sought-after speaker on AI governance and autonomous systems.

Andrew holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of London and an MBA with Distinction from Manchester Business School. He began his senior leadership journey at Gartner as a Senior Manager, where he developed expertise in enterprise advisory and strategic transformation. He later became Director of Professional Services at ROQ, before progressing to Principal of Professional Services at Micro Focus, leading complex technology delivery programmes for large organisations.

In 2021, Andrew joined Hewlett-Packard Enterprise as a Senior Specialist of Technology and Transformation, later becoming a Master Strategist for the UK and Ireland. He also serves as a Discussion Leader at the Customer Innovation Centre in London, where he advises CIOs and policymakers on AI governance and digital transformation. A member of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence, Andrew combines academic rigour with industry application. In 2024, he completed the final year of his PhD studies at Manchester Metropolitan University, further strengthening his research-led approach to AI strategy.
