Cassie Kozyrkov

Cassie Kozyrkov is one of the most influential figures in artificial intelligence and decision science. Best known for her transformative work at Google, she spent nearly a decade shaping the company’s global AI strategy and culture. As Chief Decision Scientist at Google, she founded the field of Decision Intelligence, a discipline that bridges data science and behavioural science to help organisations make smarter, evidence-based choices.

Before that, Cassie served as Chief Data Scientist in Google’s Office of the CTO, where she worked with business leaders to democratise AI and guide them through the adoption of machine learning. Earlier in her career, she was the company’s Technical Director of AI and Data, becoming the youngest ever member of the Office of the CTO and co-authoring the Google Technical Director Training Programme. As a statistician for Google, she advised more than 200 teams and trained over 20,000 people in data-driven decision-making, contributing to projects across Search, YouTube, Maps and machine intelligence.

Cassie’s academic roots are equally impressive. She holds a PhD in Mathematical Statistics from North Carolina State University and in Neuroeconomics from Duke University, and was previously a PM at the University of Chicago’s Center for Cognitive & Social Neuroscience. She has lectured in statistics at North Carolina State University and served as a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School.

Today, Cassie is the CEO of Kozyr, an advisory firm helping organisations future-proof their decision-making, and a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Innovation Advisory Council. Recognised as the #1 writer in AI on Medium for seven years and a LinkedIn Top Voice for five, her insights have been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, Entrepreneur and Harvard Business Review — with Forbes even placing her on the front cover of its AI issue.

Cassie Kozyrkov is one of the world’s most sought-after keynote speakers on artificial intelligence, leadership, and innovation. She has delivered speeches on all seven continents across 40 countries, including for the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, Web Summit, and SXSW. With more than a million followers online, nearly 700,000 on LinkedIn and 178,000 on Medium, Cassie combines global expertise with theatre-trained charisma to make complex AI ideas engaging and practical.

Her keynotes, including The Future is AI-First – Are You Ready to Lead? and AI Won’t Steal Your Job, But It Will Steal Your Excuses, challenge audiences to rethink how they approach technology. Cassie helps businesses understand the principles of being AI-first, uncover why many AI initiatives fail, and see how embracing change can unlock opportunity. More than a speaker, she is a catalyst for progress, inspiring leaders and teams to adopt AI confidently and stay ahead of industry disruption.
