He began his professional journey in clinical research roles at The Institute of Living and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, before moving into academia as Instructor of Medicine at Kent State University. Alongside this work, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Psychobiology, and a PhD in Neuroscience, building a rigorous understanding of how the brain drives behaviour, emotion and performance.
