Debbie Wosskow’s Biography:

Debbie Wosskow, OBE, is a multi-exit entrepreneur, investor, and Executive Chair of The Better Menopause, known for transforming industries and championing female economic empowerment. A respected keynote speaker, she is celebrated for founding and scaling Love Home Swap, which she sold for $53 million, and for co-chairing the Invest in Women Taskforce, a national initiative that has unlocked more than £580 million to support female led businesses. Debbie brings authority, warmth and practical insight to every stage, speaking with the clarity of someone who has built, exited and advised companies at the highest level.

After completing her MA in Philosophy and Theology at Oxford, Debbie began her career at Oliver Wyman before launching Mantra PR at just 25, an early sign of her entrepreneurial instinct. She grew the consultancy into a successful agency and later sold it to the Loewy Group, using the experience to refine her eye for opportunity. She went on to co-found Maidthorn Partners, supporting creative and tech firms through investment and strategic advice. This period shaped her understanding of both early stage business challenges and the structural barriers many founders face, particularly women, informing the mission that would drive much of her later work.

Debbie founded Love Home Swap in 2011 after a disappointing holiday sparked a simple question about how people could travel differently. The idea flourished into the world’s largest home exchange platform, featuring more than 100,000 homes in 150 countries. During this time she authored the government commissioned Wosskow Report, influencing the UK’s approach to the sharing economy. Her leadership continued with the creation of AllBright, the global career network for women, and her appointments as Non-Executive Director at Channel 4 and Senior Advisor at McKinsey and Company. In recent years she co-founded WJV LLP and expanded The Better Menopause following her own health experience, while the Invest in Women Taskforce gained national recognition in 2025 for exceeding its ambitious funding goals and widening access to capital for female founders.
