Jamie McAnsh

Jamie McAnsh is an inspirational adventurer, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker celebrated for redefining what is possible in the face of adversity. After waking paralysed in 2014 and being diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), Jamie refused to let his circumstances dictate his future. Instead, he transformed his life through resilience and determination, completing twelve extreme challenges in twelve months and raising over £250,000 for charity. His feats include becoming the first person with CRPS to reach Mount Everest Base Camp on crutches and the first person with Bilateral CRPS to summit Mount Kilimanjaro.

His early career began in the British Army, where he developed a strong sense of discipline and resilience. Following his military service, Jamie built a varied professional background ranging from Managing Director of DJ’s Pet & Garden Supplies to roles in security, sales, and funeral services. After his diagnosis, he reinvented himself completely, founding See No Bounds, a networking platform that connects people, businesses, and communities. His leadership continued as President of BNI Celtic and Equality Director of Wales Squash and Racketball Limited, where he championed inclusion within sport and business.

Jamie’s commitment to pushing boundaries extends beyond the stage. He became the first disabled player to compete in the Welsh Open Squash Tournament and has represented Wales in wheelchair rugby. His achievements have earned him national recognition, including the Brave Briton Award, the Charles Holland Award for “Against All Odds,” and the WAAT4 Greatest Achievement Award. As a presenter of The Squash Pod and a member of the Forbes DEI and HR Council, Jamie continues to influence positive change across multiple industries.

Jamie’s speaking career was born from these extraordinary experiences. His story of perseverance resonates with audiences worldwide, as he shares how courage and mindset can turn setbacks into opportunities. His authenticity, humour, and ability to connect with people on a human level make him a sought-after speaker for corporate events, schools, and international conferences. Through his talks, Jamie encourages others to “get back up” when life knocks them down, empowering individuals and teams to embrace change and overcome challenges.
