Susie Wolff

Susie Wolff MBE is a pioneering figure in international motorsport whose impact spans elite competition, senior leadership and systemic change. Susie is recognised as one of the most successful female racing drivers in Europe and made history as the first woman to compete in a Formula One event in 22 years. Now Managing Director of the F1 Academy, she is widely sought after as a speaker for her authority on high performance, leadership, gender equity and cultural transformation within elite sport, drawing on more than 25 years at the highest levels of racing.

Susie’s career began in karting, where she quickly established herself as a dominant force, winning the British Women Kart Racing Driver title four consecutive times. In 1996, she was named British Woman Kart Racing Driver of the Year before progressing to Formula Renault, where she achieved three podium finishes and earned a Young Driver of the Year nomination. Her professional ascent continued through DTM with Mercedes-Benz, followed by roles as Development Driver and later Test Driver for Williams Racing. She competed during Formula One race weekends at the Spanish, German and British Grands Prix, while also becoming a respected F1 analyst for Channel 4.

Beyond the cockpit, Susie has shaped the future of motorsport through leadership and advocacy. She founded the Dare to be Different initiative to increase female participation across the industry and went on to serve as Team Principal and later CEO of the Venturi Formula E Team. Her contributions have been recognised with an MBE for services to women in sport and an Honorary Fellowship from the University of Edinburgh. In October 2025, she published her memoir, ‘Driven’.

Today, Susie continues to influence the sport globally. As Managing Director of the F1 Academy, she is driving structural change to develop and retain female talent, while acting as a Mercedes ambassador and trusted voice on the future of motorsport.

Susie is hired as a speaker for her exceptional credibility at the intersection of elite performance, leadership and inclusion. She brings first-hand experience of breaking barriers in highly competitive, male-dominated environments and translating vision into measurable change. Regularly invited to address global organisations, including Google’s Women@EMEA forum, she delivers compelling insights on resilience, strategy and cultural leadership that resonate with corporate, sporting and international audiences alike.
