Adam Cheyer

Adam Cheyer is an American artificial intelligence pioneer, entrepreneur and technology executive best known as the Co-Founder of Siri, the groundbreaking virtual assistant that transformed the way people interact with technology. As a Co-Founder of Viv Labs, later acquired by Samsung, Adam has helped shape the evolution of conversational AI over several decades. His unique combination of technical expertise, entrepreneurial success and experience commercialising world-changing innovations makes him one of the most respected speakers on artificial intelligence, voice technology, innovation and the future of human computer interaction.

Adam began his career as a Software Engineer at Bull SA before joining SRI International, where he spent more than a decade leading advanced artificial intelligence research. During his time there, he became Chief Architect of the pioneering CALO project, the research programme that laid the foundations for Siri. Alongside senior leadership roles as Vice President of Engineering at Verticalnet and Dejima, he continued driving AI innovation before co-founding Siri in 2008. Following Apple’s acquisition of Siri, Adam served as Engineering Director before launching Viv Labs in 2012. After Samsung acquired Viv Labs, he became Vice President of Research and Development, helping advance the company’s AI strategy. He also co-founded Sentient Technologies and Change.org, demonstrating his commitment to both technological innovation and social impact.

Throughout his career, Adam has received widespread recognition for his contributions to artificial intelligence.
