Scott McArthur

Scott McArthur is a TEDx speaker, organisational psychologist and interdisciplinary consultant whose career spans science, business, creativity and human behaviour. Scott’s career developed across multiple disciplines. After studying Biological Sciences, Biology and Psychology at Edinburgh Napier University, he went on to earn a Diploma in Management Studies in Organisational Psychology and Human Resources from Manchester Metropolitan University, followed by an MSc in Organisational Development and Change from the University of Aberdeen. He began his professional journey as a Research Assistant at the University of Edinburgh before moving into applied leadership roles in major organisations.

His corporate experience includes senior positions within British Gas, where he worked as a Personnel Officer and later Head of Human Resources. Alongside this, Scott developed expertise in filmmaking, live broadcasting and storytelling, allowing him to blend analytical insight with compelling communication. He has since advised organisations including the Ministry of Defence, Marks and Spencer and the Olympic Authority, as well as global brands such as Atos, Superdry, SwissRe, Deloitte and Specsavers.
