Victoria Gosling

Victoria Gosling OBE is a former Royal Air Force officer and senior executive whose career spans military command, international sport and board-level leadership. After serving 21 years in the RAF, she transitioned into high-impact roles across elite sport and governance. Best known for leading the launch of the Invictus Games in 2014 alongside Prince Harry, Victoria has built a reputation for strategic clarity, operational discipline and purpose-driven leadership.

Victoria joined the Royal Air Force and rose through the ranks to become a Wing Commander and later Group Captain of RAF Benson, leading a helicopter base of more than 2,000 personnel supporting operations in Afghanistan. In 2010, she was appointed Commodore in the RAF, overseeing complex operational and strategic responsibilities. Her service was recognised with an MBE in 2004 and an OBE in 2014 for her commitment to RAF Benson and adaptive sport. She also served as RAF Lawn Tennis Association Councillor and held senior personnel leadership roles within the RAF’s career management structure.

In 2013, Victoria became Military Executive Lead and Group Captain for the Invictus Games, before being appointed CEO in 2014. She brought together over 400 injured servicemen and women from 14 countries for the inaugural Games, establishing a global movement centred on recovery through sport. Following this, she moved into senior corporate roles, including Director and Military Ambassador at Sage and Chief Strategy Officer at Auden.

Victoria later became CEO of GB Snowsport in 2018, leading the integration of Olympic and Paralympic teams to drive performance and inclusion. She has since served as Board Director of the British Olympic Association, Chair of GB Surfing, and Board Director at Responsible Finance. In 2024, she appeared on Nurole’s ‘Enter the Boardroom’ podcast and spoke at the Dive In Festival and Major Events International Ltd’s Events Summit, continuing her influence in leadership and governance.
