Simon Greenman’s Biography:
Simon Greenman is an accomplished executive, investor and non executive director with more than 25 years of global experience in artificial intelligence and digital innovation. As Co Founder, Head of AI and CTO of Best Practice AI, he advises organisations on AI strategy, governance and responsible deployment. Earlier in his career, he co founded MapQuest, the first internet mapping service and one of the earliest AI powered online brands. Today, Simon is widely recognised as a keynote speaker on the future of AI, AI economics, workplace transformation and digital strategy.
Simon began his career as a consultant at Accenture before co founding MapQuest, helping to pioneer consumer facing internet services at scale. He went on to hold senior leadership roles including COO at Asterand Bioscience and strategy and product leadership positions at AOL, Merkle and Dex Media. His executive career expanded across Europe as Managing Director at European Directories and CEO of ANGI Homeservices Europe, followed by interim C suite roles including CEO of MutualArt Group, Chief Digital Officer at Bowers and Wilkins and Board Advisor at Seldon.
An MBA graduate of Harvard Business School and holder of a BA Honours in Computing and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex, Simon combines technical depth with commercial acumen. He has served as a Global Innovator and member of the Global AI Council at the World Economic Forum, contributing to international dialogue on safe and practical AI adoption. He is also Co Chair Emeritus of the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of London Network and an active angel investor, advising venture capital firms including DN Capital and previously Seedcamp.
Currently a Non Executive Director at Checkit and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, Simon brings strategic oversight to both public and private organisations navigating digital transformation.
