Tom graduated from Lancaster University with a BEng in Mechatronics before beginning his career in communications and marketing. He first joined Noiseworks as an Account Director, leading the telecommunications team, before working as a Marketing Consultant for IO Communications. He later became Content Director at The Lever and subsequently served as a Strategy Consultant for And Digital. Returning to Noiseworks as an Associate Director, Tom continued to build his expertise in technology, marketing and innovation. Alongside these roles, he developed a long-standing relationship with Book of the Future, initially contributing as a blogger and technology communicator before becoming its Applied Futurist. In 2009, he co-founded CANDDi, a pioneering digital intelligence company.
