Ian Mattioli MBE

Ian Mattioli is the co-founder and former CEO of Mattioli Woods, one of the UK’s leading consultancies in pensions and wealth management. With over four decades of experience, Ian is recognised for building a highly successful, client-focused business and guiding it through significant growth and transformation. Ian began his career in financial services with a clear focus on providing tailored advice, which led to the co-founding of Mattioli Woods alongside Bob Woods. As CEO, he led the business through its admission to AIM and oversaw its continued expansion, including the development of investment initiatives such as Custodian Property Income REIT plc, where he serves as a Non-Executive Director. Following the company’s acquisition by Pollen Street Capital, Ian transitioned from day-to-day leadership into a Founding role, while also holding senior positions across organisations including K3 Capital Group, Kanobo Group and De Montfort University.

Ian’s achievements have been recognised with numerous honours. He was appointed MBE for his services to business and community in Leicestershire and has received accolades including London Stock Exchange AIM Entrepreneur of the Year and CEO of the Year at the City of London Wealth Management Awards. He has also served as High Sheriff of Leicestershire and was appointed Deputy Lieutenant, alongside receiving an honorary degree from the University of Leicester, reflecting both his professional success and community contribution.
