Roger Spitz is a globally recognised futurist, author and strategic adviser who has been described by CNN as the “leading futurist on disruption”. As President of Techistential and Founding Chair of the Disruptive Futures Institute, Roger has established himself as one of the foremost voices on navigating uncertainty, artificial intelligence, sustainability and systemic change. He is the bestselling author of the four-volume series ‘The Definitive Guide to Thriving on Disruption ‘and the award-winning Amazon bestseller ‘Disrupt With Impact’, which topped multiple categories, including AI, across six countries. Having delivered more than 500 keynote speeches in over 40 countries, Roger is widely sought after for his ability to help organisations future-proof their strategies in an increasingly unpredictable world.
Roger’s career began in corporate finance at EY before progressing into a distinguished 17-year career in investment banking. Armed with a Master of Science in Economics and Finance from Durham University, he built extensive expertise across both London and San Francisco. Joining BNP Paribas in 2002, he specialised in technology and digital M&A advisory, later launching the bank’s Digital M&A Studio and building its technology investment banking franchise across EMEA. He went on to become Managing Director of BNP Paribas TMT Advisory for the Americas and West Coast M&A, as well as serving as Global Head of Technology, advising businesses on innovation, growth and disruption.
Alongside his corporate achievements, Roger has earned widespread recognition for his thought leadership. He writes and contributes to global platforms, including the World Economic Forum and was appointed to its Global Foresight Network.
