Sebastian Sheppard

Sebastian Sheppard is a strategic advisor, business transformation expert and former Engineering Manager at Alpine Formula One, recognised for translating high-performance principles into practical leadership and organisational transformation strategies. Drawing on experience spanning defence, aerospace, Formula One and global business transformation, Sebastian has built a reputation as an authority on high-performance cultures, leadership in complex environments and organisational change. Sebastian began his professional journey in 1988 as a Royal Navy helicopter pilot specialising in Anti-Submarine Warfare and Search and Rescue operations. Following 16 years of military service, he transitioned into the private sector through Aerospace Logistics at UTi Worldwide before becoming A400M Programme Manager at SONACA. He later progressed into programme management roles with Airbus before entering Formula One as Programme Manager of Special Projects with the Lotus F1 Team in 2011. His career then evolved through Altran, where he held increasingly senior leadership positions, including Key Account Manager, Head of Mergers and Acquisitions Integration, Head of Business Transformation and ultimately Head of Transformation, Organisation and Integration for Northern Europe.

Throughout his career, Sebastian has built an impressive portfolio of advisory, academic and speaking engagements. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for GTS Group and serves as Director of Seb Sheppard High Performance Consulting. His expertise has seen him invited to prestigious institutions including the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, the University of Melbourne, the University of Edinburgh and Oxford University, while also mentoring through the African Leadership Academy.
