Alexandra Palt’s Biography:

Alexandra Palt began her professional journey as a lawyer specialising in human rights, working with leading organisations in Austria and Germany. Her early career included work in equal opportunity, discrimination law and social justice. This foundation in rights and regulation led her to found a consultancy focused on corporate social innovation and responsibility.

Alexandra joined L’Oréal in 2012 as Chief Sustainability Officer and pioneered the company’s “Sharing Beauty With All” initiative, setting new standards for sustainability across the business. In 2017, she became Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer and CEO of the L’Oréal Foundation, joining the Executive Committee in 2019. During this time she oversaw ambitious sustainability targets covering environmental impact, inclusive innovation and supply-chain transformation.

Under Alexandra’s leadership, L’Oréal launched its “L’Oréal for the Future” programme in 2020, which framed sustainability as central to the business model rather than a side activity.
