Elle Mace

Elle Mace is a highly respected practitioner, coach and educator specialising in body dysmorphia, eating disorders, imposter syndrome, trauma and menopause. As a Level 5 Coach, Master Practitioner and Bariatric Practitioner, Elle is recognised for helping individuals and organisations better understand the complex relationship between mental wellbeing, body image and behaviour. Drawing on both professional expertise and personal experience, she delivers powerful, evidence-based insights that resonate with audiences across healthcare, education, corporate and wellbeing sectors. Her ability to tackle sensitive topics with compassion and clarity has made her a sought-after speaker for conferences, workplaces and public events.

Elle’s career began with extensive education and specialist training in positive psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy and behavioural change. Determined to address the lack of accurate information surrounding body image and eating disorders, she founded Elle Mace Therapeutic Services in 2019. The following year, she became a Level 5 ILM BSC Certified Coach and Mentor, further strengthening her professional credentials. As her reputation grew, she expanded her work into consultancy, training and public speaking, later becoming Executive Partner at Strategic Wellbeing, where she supports organisations in creating healthier workplace cultures.

A recognised thought leader in her field, Elle has developed two CPD-accredited training programmes: Food Psychology and Body Image for Children and Eating Disorders and Body Dysmorphia for Sports and Fitness Professionals. Her expertise has been featured by respected organisations including the NHS, Woman&Home and The Independent. She has also contributed articles to major publications, including Women’s Health, HELLO! and PopSugar, addressing topics such as disordered eating, body positivity and the impact of social media on self-image. Alongside her media work, she hosts the ‘More to Life’ podcast and is the author of the forthcoming book ‘Food Freedom’.

Beyond her professional practice, Elle is passionate about education and advocacy. Through collaborations with charities, schools and organisations, she promotes open conversations around mental health and wellbeing. She also created the Beyond the Scale project, designed to address misinformation within the fitness industry and encourage healthier approaches to body image. Her work continues to empower individuals to challenge limiting beliefs, build resilience and develop a more positive relationship with themselves.

Elle is hired as a speaker for her unique ability to combine therapeutic expertise with practical, real-world strategies that audiences can immediately apply. Covering subjects including body image, eating disorders, menopause, trauma, imposter syndrome and workplace wellbeing, she delivers engaging, thought-provoking presentations that inspire meaningful change. Having spoken for organisations such as Lloyds Banking Group, appeared on BBC Devon and presented at Camp Bestival, Elle brings credibility, authenticity and warmth to every event. Her sessions encourage honest conversations, challenge misconceptions and provide valuable tools for improving mental health and emotional wellbeing.
